Linda will be spending two days at Northridge Elementary in Wapakoneta, Ohio. For each day, she will conduct an assembly presentation followed by individual classroom instruction where she reads the book, “Henry’s Life as a Tulip Bulb” and she illustrates an actual page out of her new book, “Up, Up and Away to the Moon, Henry”.
The students help Linda create the book by choosing the colors to be used in this page for her new book.
After sharing various techniques on water colors, erasers, pen and ink, Linda creates a 10 frame storyboard and teaches the students how to build a plot for a story. The students create the characters which consist of Henry, Bob the Caterpillar, and “An Alien”.
As the day progresses, John, Linda’s assistant takes photographs and uploads them to the site. These are the completed photos...
